I started my career in the beauty industry as a hair stylist. I really enjoyed building relationships with clients and creating individual tailored looks. I found the most rewarding part of being a hairstylist was giving clients the confidence to feel beautiful. While living in Toronto, I was looking for an opportunity where I could grow professionally and I decided to start a new career path as a salon coordinator. Becoming a salon coordinator gave me the opportunity to know a different side of the industry. I enjoyed the new responsibilities and duties involved with changing career paths. I was now acting as a liaison between the salon owner and staff, as well as between the staff and clients. I'm still doing the things I love; working closely with the team of staff and building relationships with clients. I enjoy a good challenge and found this new position very rewarding!
